If you like shopping you’re going to be spoilt for choice.
The 36th Indian International Trade Fair is coming to town and it’s time for you to plan a visit.
India’s 29 states and seven union territories are about to decsend on Pragati Maiden and showcase to the world what they’ve got.
Every year politicians, government officials, business leaders and members of the public descent on Pragati Maiden in massive numbers. For two weeks Delhi’s premier exhibition space is packed with stores from right across the sub-continent selling almost everything you can imagine.
Big commercial enterprises will be looking for international deals whilst specialist artisans will be looking for one off sales to members of the public. There will be NGOs offering crafts that they have made which help give people a leg up in life.
There’s more than just shopping here though. If you want to find out more about a particular state when it comes to planning a holiday, or you want to understand it’s culture, cuisine and traditional skills, there will be plenty of people and stalls to service your needs
Be warned though. Dilliwalahs love this show. The place will be packed. Hundreds of thousands will head through the doors when it opens to the general public. So, if you can get yourself a business ticket for the early stages of the two week exhibition, then do so
The fair runs is open from the 14th until the 27th November. For more information head on over the website.
