Get ready to eat! The National Association of Street Vendors of India food festival is on its way. It’s time to put on your coat, miss lunch and get yourself down to JLN Stadium.
Delhi and street food is a match made in heaven, no?
The city’s streets are famed for good reason. Delhi is a melting pot of cultures and cuisines from across the sub-continent and that means there’s never a shortage of new food to try out.
NASVI is a great place to got into India’s street food. Over the past five years the festival has established itself a Christmas favourite amongst Dilliwalahs.
This year’s event promises foodies the chance to try khana from of over 300 stalls from twenty five states. Yum.
Once again NASVI are partnering with FSSAI, The Food Standards and Safety Authority of India to promote cleanliness and good hygiene.
When is it? Taking place from 23rd to 25th December 2016, from 12 noon to 10pm at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Entry from Gate Number 14.
*Note – Security has been tight at this event in the past, so travel lightly and leave bags at home. Why carry bags when all you need to do is eat. Makes sense to me.
