Over 100 Indian and international vintage cars and motorcycles are coming to Delhi for a massive vintage car rally this February
Organised by the 21 Gun Salute Heritage & Cultural Trust, over 100 vintage cars and motorcycles are coming to Delhi’s iconic India Gate for three days between the 17th – 19th February.
75 handpicked Indian cars (including the exclusive maharaja cars), 15 international vintages models coming from countries including the USA, UK, France, Germany and Italy, along with 25 motorcycles are set to wow the crowds over the three days in the capital.
These Majestic and Royal vehicles will travel the streets of the city, taking in some of the capital’s iconic tourist sites before parking up at India Gate for a couple of days to be inspected by the public.
At India Gate the serious business of judging will take place, with some of the biggest names in the industry given the task of choosing the best vintage cars and motorcycles on display.
Awards being contested include ‘the Best Vintage’, ‘the Best Classic, ‘the Best Edwardian’, ‘the Best War Vehicle’ and ‘the Best Restored Car’. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in the presence of VVIP’s and royalty on Saturday.
If all this is not enough, visitors are promised cultural performance, folk music, fine cuisines to make it a day out to remember.
On the final day it’s time for the cars to set off again and head out to the international F1 circuit at Buddh for a race around the track. For a map of the route where the cars will be travelling click here.
